June 29 to July 18, 2025 - Member Wizard Update

1. The unsubscribe app now requires members to click a button before being unsubscribed. Hopefully this will prevent unintended unsubscriptions.

2. The Undeliverable emails page now has a button added so you can Unsubscribe a member from within the Admin Portal rather than the member doing it themselves.

3. We've added a new field - long text - this allows long passages of text to be added to a record.

4. Invoices produced by printing reminders now go in the transaction audit report - previously only those emailed out were recorded.

5. We've fixed the issue with the date range description in invoice and receipts membership lines. A perennial issue.

6. Members can now advise class absences in the Portal which are in the future only. That means they can't advise an absence after the fact.

7. A new tick box has been added to invoices (similar to that on receipts) which will automatically email out the invoice after it is created and saved. (Yipee!)

8. The member list now displays if a member's email address has bounced. You need to check the box marked Display Email in order for this to show up.

9. New buttons have been added to the Bulk Actions Class function. These are: Suspend/Resume Tutor gets email when student enrols and leaves, Suspend/Resume Convenor/Class Admin gets email when a student enrols or leaves. 

10. The field names for both Classes and Tutors displayed in member facing pages (web class list and portal for example) can now be edited and changed to whatever you wish to call them.

11. Events can now have a non member as the organiser.

12. We've added a time zone conversion function to the class audit report.

13. Deleting a class invoice now no longer removes the student. If you want to remove the student you need to manually remove them from the class after deleting the invoice.

14. Members can now renew via the website Membership Renewal button, using their member number as well as their email address.

15. We've optimised the loading of the invoice list. It is now much faster.

16. We've reformated the layout of event registration emails sent to event organiser and to participant.

17. Class Calendar view can now be sorted by start time.

18. The class audit report now sorts in descending date order.

19. You can now mandate an email address for an event registrant.

20. NEW MERGE TAGS!!! We've added Preferred name and member number to the tags that can be merged into emails. You can now also personalise the Welcome email in Settings/New Member Application. 

21. New standard fields!!! Preferred name, Postal Address1, Postal Address 2, Postal Suburb, Postal Postcode, Postal State and Country.
