SMS messages not being delivered?

Reports have been received that some members are not receiving SMS's even though their communications record indicates that they have been sent. We have ascertained that this is most likely due to them being filtered automatically to spam in your phones messenging app. Below are instructions for each phone type on how to check this.

To find text messages sent to your spam or junk folder, follow the steps for your specific phone type:

iPhone
  • Open the Messages app.
  • Tap Filters in the top-left corner (if filtering is enabled).
  • Select Unknown & Junk or Spam to view the filtered messages.
  • To restore a message to your main inbox, tap the message, then tap Not Spam or Move to Inbox.
(Note: If you don't see the filter option, go to Settings > Apps > Messages and turn on Filter Unknown Senders or Filter Spam).

Google Messages (Most Android Phones)
  • Open the Google Messages app.
  • Tap your Profile picture or initials in the top-right corner.
  • Select Spam & blocked.
  • Review the list of flagged texts. If you find a valid message, tap it and select Not spam to move it back to your regular chat list.

Samsung Messages (Default Samsung App on Older/Some Devices)

  • Open the Samsung Messages app.
  • Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
  • Select Settings.
  • Tap Block numbers and messages.
  • Select Blocked messages to view the filtered list. Long-press a message and choose Unblock if it was misidentified.
